Tennessee Valley Authority announced plans to close down the Kingston Fossil Plant in coming years. Now, TVA is deciding what kind of energy it should use to replace the coal-fired plant.
Appalachian Voices, Sierra Club and local community members are holding a community meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. ET on June 14 at Kingston’s community center. Please join us to learn more about the proposal to replace the Kingston plant and how you can advocate for a clean energy future for Kingston and East Tennessee!
