Consumer rights activist Mary Mancini, Executive Director of Tennessee Citizen Action, will speak on the Tennessee legislative issues surrounding Voter ID laws and their effect on you right to vote. Her program is open to the public and sponsored by the Roane County Democratic Party.

Friday Jan. 27 from 6 to 7 P.M. at the Roane County Park Meeting Center.

Though Mary has a long history of activism and involvement, She first popped up on many of our radar screens as the host of Liberadio!, a progressive radio program which delved into many of the issues of the day relating to Unverifiable voting machines, Tennessee citizen's rights, and the reams of legislation introduced each session that undermine the rights and well being of Tennesseans. Mary is a guest commentator on MSNBC and CBS for issues relating to voter ID laws and other vote suppression issues designed to keep Tennessee citizens from being able to freely voice their opinions at the ballot box.

Mary Mancini is the Executive Director of Tennessee Citizen Action, a not for profit group based in Nashville, TN. Tennessee Citizen Action works in the public interest as Tennessee’s premier consumer rights organization. Our mission is to work tirelessly to improve the overall health, well-being, and quality of life for all people who live and work in Tennessee.
