Just one

I'm still waiting for just one candidate for president I can support. So far I'm underwhelmed by the candidates from both parties. Dare I hope that this be the election where a third party candidate could run and actually win, probably not. Really am not looking forward to the election season.

?

I thought she was a Rick Perry supporter, but at least shes saying who she will support.. I wonder how it will play with the tea party she support she has... -Brian

I wonder if the Tennessee

I wonder if the Tennessee Republican Party is behind him as well, but me personally I dont care who endorses who and I hope people take it for what it is worth but you should vote for who you think is going to do the best job and lead our country no what a bunch a dollar a day politicians want or say they like!!!

Well

Very well said. We need to look at each candidate ourselves and make our own decision. I vote for the person not the party.

Impressive

I am impressed that Ms. Hurley picked someone who pledged to "provide more effective leadership than my opponent" (Ted Kennedy) "as we seek to establish full equality for America's gay and lesbian citizens." This is a laudable goal, and I hope Ms. Hurley will not get wishy-washy with this endorsement merely because the primary is now more contested than when it was she endorsed. We need politicians who stand by their convictions rather than just taking the positions that they think will get them elected.

Who is the Republican party?

This seems to be more of the question rather than who the republican party is behind. Seems obvious there are several branches of the republican party.
