Degrees of BasketballSubmitted by WhitesCreek on March 16, 2010 - 8:16am.
The Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of men basketball players at Tennessee's universities is interesting to note: Sixth seeded UT is 30% while fourth seeded Vandy graduates 85% of its players. Memphis is at 67%, UTC at 33%, and ETSU is a respectable 61%. For the four number one seeds: Kansas 73% It's amusing to look up Division 1 programs to see which ones should actually be paying their athletes because they aren't going to get a college degree. (I'm talking about YOU, 8% Maryland) While I'm at it let's put our hands together and applaud UT's Pat Summit for graduating 100% of her women. UConn also has 100%. (Finally...Something to like about Geno Auriemma)
