Frozen Head was beautiful Sunday. I posted some of my shots here!

Nice! But then I expected as much. You've set your own bar very high.

Sometimes I just luck out! Thanks.

Ha!

I've taken enough lousy pictures to know that we do luck out from time to time but luck doesn't have that much to do with consistantly good photography. It's a craft that can be elevated to an art.

Thanks for pointing me back to that post...

All I can say is "thanks God for digital photography"...I used to waste so much 35mm money! Now you can try and try again without hold back.

Exactly...

Coming from a long line of photographers, and having known some excellent ones, I was always told (and have always told others): "Ya got to run the film through the camera" if you ever want to learn how to take more good ones than bad ones. I was always advised there's no way to take too many shots... the great one may simply be the next one.

As you say, Mushy, now with digital, we don't have the cost. But God it was fun playing with images in the darkroom. Photoshop and such just ain't the same. Nonetheless, it is GREAT to be able to take hundreds and hundreds learning the camera, learning composition with a given format or lens, etc, and not have it cost anything extra.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Mushy! I always love to see the beauty of this area. :o)

Great Picture!

However, I'd rather see everything green, wild flowers dotting the woods, and maybe a fish breaking the water. Then it would be warm! lol
Sorry, But I do hate the cold. But, it is a wonderful picture. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks man!
