Dear Amerigas,

Please quit harassing me about the unpaid tank rental bills for 2013 and 2014. If you would take a moment and check your records you might notice that I terminated all of my Amerigas accounts in 2012. Your people picked up one of the tanks you keep billing me for in 2012 and the other one was supposed to be picked up two Januaries back. You must have forgotten about it even though I called you several times to come get it and you said you would. Your company is stunningly incompetent.

You keep leaving messages on my phone that you will ruin my credit if I don't pay this bill, and I have called your office during normal business hours and had to leave messages for you to leave me alone and to come get your tank before I have it hauled away for scrap. Perhaps I should just sell it to cover the rental for my yard where you have been storing it for well over a year. Also, DO NOT drive your truck through my back yard when you get your tank. Last time you ran over the drain field and it cost me $1500 to repair, after you failed to cover the damage.

Your company sucks and I hate that. You used to be a good company and I had done business with you for over 25 years until I found out that you charged people who rented a propane tank from you a dollar more per gallon than you charged people who own their own tank. I found another propane company that didn't do that and have been quite happy with them. I also get a human when I call their office.

Please go away, Amerigas. It will be better for both of us, otherwise I may have to point out that billing people for goods and services they did not order and you have not delivered is fraud.

Cheers,

Steve
