West Roane County Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual "elegant junk" yard 'sale' at Station 1 on Pumphouse Road near Rockwood on May 10 and 11 (Friday and Saturday before Mother's Day) from 8:00 AM until dark each day.

Bring the whole family; donate some goods and get some bargains! There will be refreshments, fire trucks, and more!

Please donate your serviceable items to help this worthy 501(c)(3) charity. Volunteers will be at Station No. 1 for drop-offs at times to be announced.

Also, please leave a message at 865-354-8201 days, evenings, or weekends to arrange for pick-up or to drop-off your slightly used items.

Please limit the amount of clothing donated since we have limited space. Couches and bedding are not accepted. Also, there is limited need for old televisions and computers.

Volunteers are also needed to help with the sale, starting at 8:00 AM Thursday, May 9.
