Teenager stops drunk driver for police

I would tell my kids, "Get the heck out of the way and let the Pro's handle these things."

But I have to pat him on the back, even though it might not have turned out so well.

Mr. Devaney has a problem and so do we. He obviously needs help for his alchoholism, and we need protection from Mr. Devaney and folks like him, whose problems endanger other people. I don't have a simple answer.

I agree with the remarks Tim Phillips made about letting those trained to do it handle it. Yet I can't fault the kid or his parents... he admitted it was dangerous and probably a trifle foolish, but he can't be trumped on his claim it "was the tight thing to do."
