WC I believe you misread the article. Roane Medical Center is the hospital.
What is being planned is a physicians center to go along with the new hospital that is to come later.

HARRIMAN — Roane Medical Center is moving out of downtown Harriman to Roane County’s Midtown area soon, and a new building for doctors and health-care providers also will locate in that vicinity, according to an announcement today.
Construction of Physicians Plaza of Roane County, a 45,000-square-foot, two-story medical office building, is expected to start early next year.

The land the hospital is being built on was annexed by the City a few years back. The people in that area I believe it was 4 or 5 even voted in an election to be annexed by the city. The Doctor's office is being built right across the road from the Kroger and Lowe's. All of which is located with in the City limits of Harriman.

When they go to midtown I'm assuming they will all switch from Harriman water to midtown water. But will they still use HUB, or will they be switching utilities as well?

The land where the new hospital will be is not in the city of Harriman--yet. The land across from Kroger where the medical office building will be is half in the city of Harriman and half in Roane County.

Covenant bought 2 or 3 parcels west of the old propane gas place in Midtown. The huge house on the hill has already been torn down. They paid a lot for the property and that is where they plan to relocate RMC. There have been survey crews there in the past several weeks.
Who says that the hospital is not relocating to the Midtown area? Proof please!

We'll see what happens.
Now, now.. WC how many times have you warned about unsubstantiated rumors on here. Again... proof please, not just some lead on.

Some of the utilities used there... electric and gas are already HUB.
Emory Gap will always be Emory Gap and Midtown will always be Midtown. It doesn't matter what city they are in, the names will not change.

Is the area currently be excavated between I-40 and Hwy 70 at the Pine Ridge intersection this proposed site?
A couple of years ago I heard Jerry Duncan was moving to that location. (rumor?)
Mushy
The Physician's complex will be on the back side of the "filled in" place across from Pinnacle Point. It will abut Griffith (?) Lane.
