The attorneys for those who have suffered economic damage due to TVA negligence will ask the questions. What questions do you think Mr. Kilgore will be asked?

I would love to ask a few questions that have little to do with the legal situation, such as, "When you stood up in front of us in public and said that TVA would make everything right for everyone, did you actually have any clue as to how much economic damage would result from TVA's negligence?"

"It's all about the bottom line isn't it? Is that why TVA has NOT made everyone whole?"

But they are working on

But they are working on it.... Haven't you noticed that several who have complained loudly over the months, have received payments and suddenly gotten much quieter?

Who might you be referring

Who might you be referring too?

To some of the names that I have seen in the real estate transfers over the last few months. There have been several that I recognized who voiced their opinions and protests in the papers and news outlets.
I'm not picking on anyone individually Randy... it was a "blanket" statement, nothing personal, just an observation.

Nothing personal from me

Nothing personal from me either. I am just trying to figure out who you were speaking about. Because everyone that has been fighting since day one are still fighting. I encourage you and everyone to attend the next CAG meeting to see just how hard we are trying to get information for our community. There is still a lot of activity going on we are just not being covered by the media as much. Much to the delight of TVA I am guessing.

I appreciate everything the

I appreciate everything the CAG has done. Getting information out to the public is their primary job so working to do that should not be considered a fight with TVA.

I think the time for fighting for information is over. We have received more information than we will ever need. The message that we have heard on the Kingston side of the Clinch River is "you were not effected - sue us if you want compensated for damages". That is the information we have received loud and clear.

What we need is our property values and our community's reputation restored. That is what we should be fighting for. What we got was overly inflated property assessments (to help TVA in lawsuits) and $2 million in hush money to keep our county and city officials quiet. We don't need more information because on our side of the river all of it has been bad.

I would hope that the

I would hope that the attorneys get the truth. Surely, Kilgore knows that it is a federal offense to give false information in a deposition just as it is in court.

I think that the amount of lies coming out of TVA in the past years have been nothing less than damaging to those whom have received damage from TVA. TVA has gone out of their way to try to make the poor people that are forced to live in their mess look like the bad guy. It has been a pathetic attempt on their part though. People know the truth.
