Right on with that one, 1T.
Right on with that one, 1T.
Would you support allowing
Would you support allowing counties decide if they want an elected or appointed school superintendent?
Are you going to allow the
Are you going to allow the continuance of discrimination against smokers?
Good question, Skeeter. A
Good question, Skeeter.
A private business owner should have the right to decide if he wants a smoking or non-smoking establishment. Then let the patrons or customers decide if they want to patronize the place!
What are your overall plans
What are your overall plans for Cover Tennessee? Do you have a funding plan to lift the current enrollment suspension?
Ditto Harrimanite and
Ditto Harrimanite and Skeeter. Did anyone see the law suit in I think Detroit....perfume allergy. Now no perfume, aftershave, deodorant etc. It is getting bad.
I have sat next to people
I have sat next to people who absolutely will stifle you from their perfume/cologne odor! I have told/preached to young people that just because a little perfume smells good, it doesn't mean taking a bath in it will make you smell better! It is miserable to be seated in a closed spot and try to get a clear breath. And, when that happens, I will request to be moved away from the offender. I don't lobby to get perfume wearers banned from a private business.
Now before some of you say... That's how it smells to be around a smoker.. well, if they can outlaw cigarettes in private businesses, then they should outlaw other things that cause a hinderence to your breathing! Or. leave the government control out of it entirely and let the customer express their thoughts to the business owner and let them decide how it should be handled!!
Health Care
The addition of Tennessee joining the Mega Bucks lottery to go along with Power Play, even more people are spending more money to play the lottery. Each month they crerate a new "scratch off" ticket. Instead of waiting for a national health care progtam, why not step forward and use a percentage of those monies to revitalize the TennCare program, this time making enrollees accountable of proof of residency and income? Even having to pay a premium is better than no health care at all.
