Every Friday, from 6:30pm until? at the "Old Bilbrey's Furniture Store" in downtown Rockwood we have "jam sessions" and stage shows. Over 200 seats in the roomy stage area, two wide screen TVs located behind the stage for a great effect also. Bands and "pickers, grinners, and listeners", come from all over the state and KY. to enjoy music in a family atmosphere place. We ask for a one time donation even though everyone donates their time and talent. Noted performers such as Sammy Adkins(Sandy Hook,Ky., Alex Leach (WDVX),Tony Thomas (Mystery Mountain Boys) and the McCoy Sisters (from Ohio) have appeared on stage as well as local favorites who are just as talented. We also have a small concession area featuring "Miss Nell's" award winning pies. All in all, it is a good thing for Rockwood, drawing visitors from all over. Nick and Betty Barrett, the owners are civic minded and we are trying to make Rockwood "THE PLACE TO BE IN TENNESSEE......Ray Collett
