Roane County United Way will hold a "Dog Days at the Courthouse" event on Thursday, September 17, 2009, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Old Roane County Courthouse in Kingston, Tennessee. There will be a grilled hot dog lunch and the program will begin "around noon." Diana Knobloch, Roane County United Way Executive Director, writes that "Robin Wilhoit from Channel 10 will be our guest speaker for the day."

"In case of rain, the event will be in Kingston Church of Christ's family life center on Kentucky Street."

Volunteers from the West Roane County Volunteer Fire Department, a United Way Partner Agency, will be there to help.

Come on out for this fun outdoor lunch and show your support for the United Way and many local charities.
