I heard that Mike Hooks resigned his County Commission seat last night. Does anyone have an update?

Leadership
Maybe more will follow his lead? Sometimes to lead, you have to get out of the way.
Yes last night was his last
Yes last night was his last meeting. I got 2 reasons what truth there is to either I don't know. One was health reasons I know he has heart problems. And second he moved out of his district. The night was complete with a going away dinner at the McDonald's dollar menu.
There will be a public hearing to fill his unexpired term and Mark Pattons seat also on 08/25 at 6:30 I believe ant the court house.
