Interesting tidbits from the ash recovery project weekly report:
--Approval to dispose ash offsite not yet received. If not received by June 16th, the schedule will be negatively impacted.
--Received regulatory approval to increase storage height of ash in the ash processing area to 15 feet.
--Eleven seeps have been identified along Dike C in the area where trees were cleared. The seeps are small and no flow is visible. A TVA engineer from Chattanooga and Stantec looked at the dike on Monday and provided a recommendation for daily monitoring. Seeps are typical with dikes. TVA soil engineers looked at the area on Wednesday and came to the same recommendation of monitoring.
