Rockwood plant due for $23 million overhaul by maker of carbon fibers.

First it was Great Lakes Carbon and it got bought. Then it was Fortafil and it got bought. Then it was Akzo-Fortafil and it got bought.

Now it's ToHo Tenax.

I've used a lot of carbon fiber in kayaks and canoes and paddles, and it's great stuff. The plant is a marvel and now it's going to get even more marvelous.

Right on, WC -

I know some folks who work there, and they tell some really cool stuff about the progress and future outlook for this plant. Sounds really good!
