Saddened to hear this
Ray,
I was saddened to read this. I, and others, had the opportunity to speak with Mr. East on several occasions after council meetings and he was always a gentleman. I extend my sincere sympathy to his family and the city council. Rockwood has lost a good man.
Gene East
It was indeed sad to hear of Gene's passing and my wife and I extend our profound sympathy to his family. Gene's voice and input will be missed on the Rockwood City council where he served for many years. He will be missed by his many friends.
