Pi day was last Saturday but I just found this and want to post it for the math and science teachers out there. It is interesting that 10 Republicans opposed Pi day saying among other things that it was the creation of an atheistic holiday. Geez! I am glad to see it's fashionable once again to engage in science.

Just Verifies What I've Thought About Lincoln...

... for a long time. He may be a country boy from Tennessee, but by God he's a SMART one!

Since first meeting with him - and his able assistant Beecher - in his office in Legislative Plaza in Nashville (probably around 2001), I have been impressed that this is one of the brightest, capable legislators I have known. The party he belongs to or how partisan he is (or is not) is irrelevant.

I agree RB. Lincoln

I agree RB. Lincoln continues to surprise me with his intellect. He doesn't seem to be so partisan that he will vote along with the party regardless.

I first met him about 10 or 12 years ago and have seen him do everything from "holding his own" with the "big shots" to changing a tire! And he can handle a lug wrench a fine as any mechanic!
