From the Knox News Sentinel:

Sword handed down an effective sentence of 12 years in prison last week for David Lynn Richards Jr., who was convicted by a Knox County jury in February on nine felony counts including rape, incest and sexual battery by authority figure for the repeated abuse of his adopted teenage daughter over nearly two years.

"Nothing says 'good Christian man' like rape & incest," reads a tweet posted Monday by @crushthebigots, a self-described entrepreneur and philanthropist who tweets about legal issues. "The prosecutor recommended 72 years in prison. The judge felt he was a good Christian and gave him 12."
