While I take issue with the claim that this was the "first rock" from outside our solar system to pass by Earth (How can we possibly know that?) it is still the first one we know of and is way cool!

Discovered on October 19, the object is several hundred feet across and is currently speeding away from us at more than 98,000 miles an hour. At that speed, the space rock is moving fast enough to outrun the sun’s gravitational tug—implying that it was never part of our solar system to begin with.


Our scientists are incredible! So why, I have to ask, won;t the EPA let it's scientists tell us what they know about global warming?
