Tennessee is now first in the nation for fatal accidental shootings, according to the Safe Tennessee Project, a nonpartisan gun-violence prevention organization.

The group cites recent data from the Centers for Disease Control. Tennessee previously ranked 9th based on statistics from 2013, when 19 people died in accidental shootings.

That number jumped to 105 in 2014, according to the group.
