I am astounded at this. Christianity is so very different in my mind from what this appears to espouse.

Carson-Newman University President Dr. Randall O’Brien told WVLT that he had filed for a Title IX exemption from the federal government...

The waiver allows the school to ban pregnant students, women who have had an abortion, single mothers, LGBT students and anyone else who does not fit their religious ideology.

I understand they want to

I understand they want to promote Biblical behavior, and that isn't necessarily bad. BUT, what about hate the sin, love the sinner? Regardless if you are pro or anti anything, and even if the Bible does say it is a sin, and you acknowledge that it is a sin, that doesn't mean you mistreat the sinner. Many in the included groups, are the very ones that need compassion and understanding and very likely in need of big dose of love. Sadly, this isn't the only place this happens.
