It appears that the no tax people in the legislature have our state in a gridlock while state services get sold to the most connected bidders and quality spirals downward. At some point it will crash and we will be left holding the bill. Fair warning...Delayed maintenance always costs much more than doing it now!

Haslam is facing strong resistance among many fellow Republicans in the Legislature about taking steps to increase roadbuilding revenues. But the governor argues that ignoring the growing shortfall now will result in an infrastructure crisis down the road.
