The most interesting race could wind up being for County Executive, with incumbent Ron Woody potentially facing the man he defeated, Mike Farmer, and Darryl Meadows, who has served in several positions in Rockwood and is currently the President of United Community Bank in Kingston.

The Cicuit Court Judge contest will draw interest with current Clerk of Court Kim Nelson and current County Attorney Tom McFarland having picked up petitions and attorney Mike Pemberton rumored to be interested as well.

The pdf file attached shows all potential candidates that have been picked up petitions and whether they have actually filed them.

Lots of contests

There will also be a race for Circuit Court Clerk (current Deputy Clerk Ann Goldston, County Commissioner Randy Ellis, and Sarah Stewart).

If McFarland doesn't run for Judge he'll have a contest for County Attorney as Rockwood City Attorney Greg Leffew is running.

On the Judge race, Brackett (our Register of Deeds) is not running, but Circuit Court Clerk Kim Nelson is. Pemberton is also. McFarland was trying to decide between Judge and County Attorney last time I talked to him.
