With a Landfill in The Works Just Upstream of Roane County We Should Pay Attention To This

TVA coal ash

TVA wanted to dump coal ash in a fill on a old strip mine up on the plateau in in Cumberland county. I'm not sure whether they went ahead with the plan. See: Link..., Link..., Link....

I hope they didn't do it.

Thanks, WC

Putting garbage in a "landfill" up on a mountain is always a Bad Idea for the folks in the valley and also for those downstream.
